Chicken Marinades - Summer Special

Updated: Jun 8

While these marinades were designed with the grill in mind, the air fryer or the oven will work as well! Follow these instructions to enjoy an easy, delicious chicken without all of the work.

Greek Chicken Marinade -

The perfect balance of lemon, dill, and classic Greek herbs. All the right flavors in all the right places. Serve with a Mediterranean-style rice and cucumber salad or as a main protein to a Chopped Mediterranean Salad.

Huli Huli Chicken Marinade -

Sweet with a slight spice then cooked on the grill for a light char... an incredible, classic Hawaiin-style chicken. Pair with jasmine rice and pineapple for a fresh, simple summer meal!

Italian Chicken Marinade -

Zesty and bright, this Italian Chicken is the perfect versatile protein for an easy summer dinner the whole family will love. Keep this one on hand to grill quickly to use in pasta salads, chopped green salads, or with a creamy Italian rice and grilled vegetables.

Honey Balsamic Chicken Marinade -

Very similar to our Sweet Balsamic Pork Tenderloin (which has proven to be a Round Table Meal's customer favorite!), this is one that you can't go wrong with! Take it towards an Asian-flare and serve with stir-fried vegetables and rice or alongside your favorite baked potatoes and sautéed zucchini.

Mustard Seed Chicken Marinade -

A family favorite I grew up with that I still crave and make every summer (it's me, Krissa!)... this is a light, bright chicken that I love to serve with all of your favorite BBQ sides and salads or chop and serve in street taco style with all of your favorite taco toppings, such as our Cilantro Lime Ranch, Queso Fresco, an amazing guacamole, and a fresh salsa.

For all marinades (regardless of serving size or recipe) use the following steps for the best results!

  1. Thaw your chicken overnight in the fridge or during the day. When getting ready to grill cut open the vacuum sealed bag and remove thawed chicken from marinade ingredients, setting on a tray or a plate to take to the grill. Reserve sauce for later step.

  2. When you're ready to cook your chicken, oil your grill grates well to prevent meat from sticking. Heat the grill to medium heat.

  3. When heated, carefully place chicken on the grill, close the lid and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, turning every 5 minutes to help chicken cook evenly and to prevent burning. Every time you turn the chicken brush or baste some of the reserved marinade liquid on the chicken tenderloins.

Cook times will vary depending on sizes and cuts of chicken pieces, so be sure to check for doneness: Meat should not be pink and the juices should run clear.) Internal temperature should reach 165 degrees when complete. Serve immediately.

Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees and set the time for 8-9 minutes. Remove your thawed chicken from the marinade bag and place strips in the preheated air fryer basin. Dispose of the remaining marinade. Close the air fryer and allow the cook process to begin, flipping the chicken at the halfway mark, around 4-5 minutes. Finish cook time and enjoy immediately!

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees and lay chicken out on a sheet pan greased with a light amount of olive oil or lined with tin foil. Reserve marinade mixture in a bowl while chicken bakes for 20 minutes. After the time is up flip the chicken over and brush or baste reserved marinade on the chicken, then broil for about 3-5 minutes to give it the "grilled" effect.
